Everyone has their own story. Everyone has skeletons in their closet. Everyone has potential to break free from chains of oppression with resilience. Sometimes we need to let others help us. Sometimes we need to swallow our pride, accept our place in life, and allow a team or a squad to love us for who we are and for who they know we can be.
In this final episode of Season 1, meet Alisa, the Executive Director of The Sophia's Way in Bellevue, Washington. The Sophia's Way supports women without homes or shelter and not only provides them with immediate necessities, but helps set them on their path to success. Alisa is passionate about equity and helping any and all who come to their door. She strives to make this world a level playing field for everyone, recognizing that we are all human... we are all worthy of a great life.
